By filing the application for SBTET service, you are stating that you agree to be bound by all of these terms and conditions. By accessing and using http://apsbtet.net/TWSHPORTAL, You accept and agree to the Terms and Conditions without limitation or qualification, and acknowledge that any other agreements You may have with SBTET are superseded by the Terms and Conditions, to the extent any conflict exists. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the SBTET Site. The SBTET Terms and Conditions may be revised by updating this posting. You are bound by such revisions and should therefore visit this page to review the current Terms and Conditions from time to time.

About SBTET

The Director of Public Instruction (D.P.I.) used to head the Technical Education also at the time of formation of Andhra Pradesh. To help speed up the process of development of Technical Education, a Board in the name and style of “STATE BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING” was created vide G.O.Ms.No.371 Edn-dated 26.2.1957. The Joint Director (Technical Education) of DPI used to act as secretary of this newly formed Board. The Board is formed as a statutory body under the A.P. Education Act-1982 (act 1 of 1982), an act of assembly, in the present form, vide G.O.Ms.No.140 dated 24.4.1984. In accordance with the powers conferred by Sub-Sections (1) and (2) of Section 6 read with Sub-Section (1) of Section 99 of the said Act, the Government of Andhra Pradesh have established a Board of Technical Education "The State Board of Technical Education & Training, Andhra Pradesh" in G.O.Ms.No.140, dated 24-4-1984.  The Board had come into existence from 1st June 1984.

Definitions

  1. Services means the various information, interactive and payment services offered by SBTET from time to time through the website http://apsbtet.net/TWSHPORTAL or any other website
  2. Business means the business of offering the Services
  3. Customer means the person using the Service wherein a ‘person’ means an individual, a student, parent or any other Legal entity or organization or other body whatsoever;
  4. Collections means the payments made by the user for utilizing the Services;
  5. Website means the website located at the URL address http://apsbtet.net/TWSHPORTAL
  6. Login ID means the login identity selected by the User during registration to personalise their Identification as a registered User. The Login ID must be used to access and use SBTET as a registered User.

Limited Permissions

Access to and use of the SBTET site is subject to all applicable international and local laws and regulations. Unless otherwise specifically indicated, you may download material displayed on the SBTET site for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not distribute, modify, copy, publish, transmit, display, sell, license, use, reuse or create derivative works of any of the contents of or material displayed on the SBTET site for any public or commercial purpose without the written consent of SBTET or any third party SBTET deems necessary. You must retain all copyright and other proprietary notices on downloaded and/or copied material. Any copy of material from the SBTET site you make and distribute for any purpose must also include these Terms and Conditions. You may not access or use the SBTET site in any way that could or is intended to damage or impair the SBTETsite, or any server or network underlying the SBTET site, or interfere with anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Site.

 Eligibility of Users

To use the SBTET Service you must be authorised to agree to the Terms and Conditions to access, use and avail of the SBTET Service. Further, your use of the Service is based on the understanding and agreement that by accessing and using the Service, you may be violating the local laws in India and/or your country. You agree that you will be solely and absolutely liable for any liability incurred by you in this regard and you will indemnify SBTET and/or its Service Partner against any liability incurred by them in this regard.

The SBTET Service offers you a convenient and secure way to file the application for the various examinations conducted by SBTET and obtain hall tickets over the Internet using any Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking. Payments that You can make through this service include payments towards:

Simply visit http://apsbtet.net/TWSHPORTAL during the period of Notification basing on the above services, to file the application and make the payment for obtaining the hall tickets/services. SBTET offers customers two convenient ways to pay the examination fee (a) Through any franchisee of APOnline (b) Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.

Charges and Fees

SBTETcollects the examination fee as per the Board norms. The Examination fee may be revised by from time to time. These changes shall be effective from the time they are posted on to the SBTET website. Credit /Debit Card Service charges will be levied 0.84% of the bill amount by Debit Card, 1.97% of the bill amount by Credit Card and 1.97% of the bill amount or Rs. 10/- which ever is less in case of Net Banking for providing the services.

Obligations for the users

In using the SBTET Service, you agree to:(a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or SBTET has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is false, inaccurate or incomplete, SBTET has the right to reject the issue of hall tickets or accepting your request for the services.

User Registration and Security

SBTET will provide Login ID and a Password to facilitate the affiliates/Institutions to subsequent access to SBTET. You agree to Immediately notify SBTET of any unauthorized use of Your password or account or any other breach of security, and ensure that You exit from Your account at the end of each session. You agree that SBTET is authorised to act on all instructions received when your password is used in conjunction with Your Login ID. Any transaction or activity pursuant to use of Your account or password shall be deemed to be Your transaction or activity and SBTET shall have no obligation to verify the authenticity of any such transaction or activity. SBTET shall be entitled in its sole discretion (but shall not be bound) to seek offline and/or additional written or other confirmation from You of any instruction, transaction or activity as SBTET may deem fit. In addition We may issue instructions from time to time intended to ensure the security of SBTET. You agree to comply with those instructions.

Authority to Charge Card Account

You may pay the fee for various services offered by SBTET using a Credit Card. When you initiate a bill payment transaction and you warrant that your fully and lawfully entitled use such Credit Card for such transactions You are responsible under any encumbrance or charge, If the Card Issuing Bank refuses or delays honoring the Payment Instruction (s), Circumstances beyond the control of SBTET (including, but not limited to, fire, flood, earthquakes, natural disasters, bank strikes, power failures, systems failure like computer or telephone lines breakdown due to an unforeseeable cause or interference from an outside force).

User Conduct

As a condition of your use of the Service, you warrant to SBTET and its Service Partner that you will not use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices. You agree to abide by all applicable local, state, national and international laws and regulations and are solely responsible for all acts or omissions that occur under your account or password, including the content received and payments made through the Service. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree not to: Create a false identity for the purpose of misleading others Transmit or upload any material that contains viruses, trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or any other harmful or deleterious programs. Interfere with or disrupt networks connected to the Service or violate the regulations, policies or procedures of such networks. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Service, through password mining or any other means. Violate any applicable laws or regulations. Interfere with another member's use and enjoyment of the Service or another individual's or entity's use and enjoyment of similar services. SBTET has no obligation to monitor the Service or any member's use thereof or retain the content of any member session. However, SBTET reserves the right at all times to monitor, review, retain and/or disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request.

Copyrights and Other Proprietary Rights

You should assume that everything on the SBTET site is copyrighted unless otherwise noted and that it must not be used except as provided in the Terms and Conditions or with the express written consent of SBTET or any third party SBTET deems necessary. SBTET neither warrants nor represents that your use of the material displayed on the SBTET site will not infringe rights of third parties. Any product, service, program, or technology described on the SBTET site may be the subject of other intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyright, trademark, or patent rights) owned by SBTET and/or its Service Partner. Any such right that is not expressly licensed herein is reserved by SBTET and/or its Service Partner. Images of people or places displayed on the SBTET site are either the property of, or used with permission by, SBTET. Use of these images by you or other third parties is prohibited unless expressly permitted in the Terms and Conditions or elsewhere on the SBTET site. Any unauthorized use of these images may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity, and other applicable regulations and statutes. Any product, service, program or technology described in any document published by SBTET on the SBTET site may be the subject of other intellectual property rights owned by SBTET or its Service Partner. Any such right that is not expressly licensed hereunder is reserved by SBTET and/or SBTET .

Trademarks and Brand Names

The trademarks, logos and service marks, whether registered or unregistered (collectively the "Trademarks") displayed on the SBTET site are Trademarks of SBTET and others. Nothing contained on the SBTET site should be construed as granting by implication, estoppels, or otherwise, any license or right to use any Trademark displayed on the SBTET site without the written permission of SBTET or such third party that may own the Trademark. Misuse of any Trademarks, or any other content, displayed on the SBTET site is prohibited. SBTET aggressively enforces its intellectual property rights, including via civil and criminal proceedings.

Indemnification

Termination

These Terms and Conditions remain in effect until Your use of SBTET is terminated by You or by Us. You may terminate Your use of, and participation in, SBTET for any reason at any time. Termination must be effected by following the process set out in Our website. SBTET may terminate or suspend performance of these Terms and conditions and SBTET service for any reason at any time. We may attempt to notify You in advance, but We are not obliged to do so. SBTET may, in its sole discretion, with or without notice, terminate Your password, account (or any part thereof) or use of or access to the Service, and may modify, remove or discard any content/ bills/ data within the Service, for any reason, including, without limitation for lack of use or if SBTET believes that You have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of the Terms and Conditions. Further, You agree that SBTET and/or SBTET shall not be liable to You or any third-party for any termination of Your access to the Service. Termination of Your use of, or participation in, SBTET shall not relieve You of any responsibility to pay outstanding fees or charges or other liabilities incurred prior to the date of termination. After termination You cannot make further use of SBTET and You must make alternative payment arrangements for unpaid bills.

Notices, Transaction Records and Electronic disclosers

SBTET may give any notice or other type of communication to You: (a) by electronic mail ("e-mail") to the e-mail address that You have registered on Our website;(b) by making the notice available for access on Our website, or(c) by ordinary pre-paid mail to Your address registered on Our website. Any notice given by Us to You shall be deemed given: (a) at the time when an e-mail message is sent by Us;(b) on making the notice available for access on Our website for display to You;(c) 2 Business Days after entry of mail into the mail stream. You are responsible for keeping Your e-mail or physical (street) address on Our website up-to- date, if and when they change. SBTET and or SBTET may be required to provide to You certain disclosures and notices, which are mandated by various laws and Terms and Conditions and transaction related notifications such as receipt of bill details, payment advices, payment return advices etc. You acknowledge and agree to receive all such disclosures and notifications electronically, which, in most cases, will be done through the Internet. If, for any reason, You do not wish to receive the disclosures electronically, You must advise SBTET immediately. In such an event, SBTET reserves the right to discontinue/terminate the provision of the Service to You, in whole or in part. You acknowledge that the read-out, faxed, email or printed output, if any, that is generated at the time of operation of Your account under the Service is a record of the operation by You. The records of SBTET service, generated by the transactions arising out of the use of the Service, including the time the transaction is recorded shall be conclusive proof of the genuineness and accuracy of the transaction. You acknowledge that the SBTET and/or SBTET shall have no liability or obligation to keep a record of the transactions carried through the SBTET Service and/or to provide information to You or for verifying Your Payment Instructions, other than records required to be kept or information required to be provided statutorily by SBTET and/or SBTET .You acknowledge that the SBTET Service does not pre-screen the data presented by Biller (s) but that SBTET service shall have the right (but not the obligation) in its sole discretion to refuse or curtail any content/data that is available via the Service. Without limiting the foregoing, SBTET shall have the right to remove any content/data that violates the Terms and Conditions or is otherwise in violation of any contract entered into by SBTET and/or SBTET. You agree that You must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, the use of any content/data, including any reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of such content/data.

Additional Legal Information

The Laws of India shall govern the validity, construction and enforceability of this Agreement in all respects. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Hyderabad, India, to the exclusion of all other Courts, as regards any claims or matters arising under these terms and conditions. SBTET and/or SBTET accept no liability whatsoever, direct or indirect for non-compliance with the laws of any country other than that of India. The mere fact that a user of the SBTET site in a country other than India accesses the site or the service does not imply that the laws of that country govern these terms and conditions or the operations in the accounts of the users of this Service. Use of the Service is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including without limitation this paragraph. Any failure, delay or omission by SBTET and/or SBTET to enforce any of its rights under the Terms and Conditions or applicable laws shall not constitute a waiver of such right If any part of these Terms and Conditions are determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect. You agree to follow any applicable laws in Your use of the Site. You will abide by these laws and regulations as applicable and will not transfer, directly or indirectly, by electronic transmission or otherwise, any content or software from the SBTET site to or from any countries or foreign nationals in violation of such laws or regulations.

General Information

The section titles in these Terms and Conditions are for only for convenience and do not affect the meaning of the relative clause. SBTET and/or its Service Partner may sub-contract and employ agents to carry out any of their obligations under this contract. SBTET and or its Service Partner may transfer or assign its rights and obligations under this contract to any other entity. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form.
